We're Ron and Marianne Murray, owners and operators of Atlanta Bread at the Forum. We moved to Atlanta in 1997 from Boston when Ron was asked to help launch a venture capital backed cable and broadcast media company.
God brought us to Atlanta and five years later He called us to open our own business. With the guidance of neighbor and tennis partner Jerry Couvaras, the CEO of Atlanta Bread Company International, we were offered the franchise's planned Atlanta Bread's Forum location, just 4 miles from home.
Ours is a real family business, employing part-time Elizabeth and Andrew, our two children. Elizabeth, a business school student at the University of South Carolina, has worked at the restaurant for five years as a cashier and Andrew, who attends Northview High School, enjoys making pizzas and cooking pasta dishes. Marianne handles catering and business development activities for the restaurant, while Ron manages the day-to-day operations, marketing and administration.
We love being part of the Peachtree Corners community. Part of our calling is to serve others and we do that by donating food to many area organizations. In addition to giving the left-over bread and bakery items to local churches each night, our Atlanta Bread is a major supporter of Norcross schools, Wesleyan School, the YMCA, and several area charities including Beacon of Hope Pregnancy Resource Center plus various cancer research organizations (as Ron is a cancer survivor himself).
We hope you enjoy looking at our website and eating at Atlanta Bread Company at the Forum. Please visit us often and, if you have not done so already, introduce yourself to us the next time you come in.
